Currently seeking to fill the following roles:

Mixer/Extruder Operators – 2nd and 3rd Shifts – Strongly prefer at least one year of experience mixing chemicals and/or one year of experience running extruders.   Sit-down, electric fork lift experience preferred.  High school diploma or GED required.

Maintenance Technicians/Electricians (2) – Looking for people willing to train on 1st shift then possibly move to 2nd or 3rd shift.  At least 5 years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience that are highly experienced (journeyman level) electricians, preferably licensed or with certification or other related education. Panel building and troubleshooting skills preferred.  Ability to run conduit to new machine locations and install machines.  PLC programming a plus. Minimum High School diploma or GED.

Quality & Safety EngineerBachelor’s degree in related field plus a minimum of 1 year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Knowledge of ISO 9001, OSHA, and other regulatory guidelines pertaining to manufacturing and safety.  Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.).  MS Word; MS Excel; MS Power Point; MS Outlook, and business systems.  Strong oral and written communication skills with customers, co-workers and groups of people required, including correct grammar and spelling skills.  Ability to read and understand instructional and technical information.  Basic and advanced math skills.

Process EngineerBachelor’s degree from four-year college or university plus a minimum of three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in plastic/rubber compounding or similar process that involves mixing/compounding. Experience in designing and installing equipment. Hands on experience with loss in weight (Gravimetric) feeders and automation design preferred.

R&D Lab Technician (2)_- Requires a High School Diploma or GED.  Coursework toward a related advanced degree is desired.  A minimum of 5 years of mixing and compounding experience is required.  Preferred experience includes: lab testing, color match, color blends, compounding of concentrate masterbatch,  TPE/TPV formulations development, lab injection molding and extrusion techniques, experience handling equipment and a variety of TPE materials.

R&D Lab  (Formulations Chemist) – Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, in Chemistry, Material Science, Polymer Science, or closely related field. Minimum of 2 years of polymer science experience required.  Experience in the development and scale-up of Thermoplastic Elastomer formulations is a plus. Thorough understanding of the properties and structures of thermoplastic elastomers, interaction between the relevant polymer materials and additives, including a focus on methods used for their characterization, to link structures and formulations to real-world applications. Familiarity with Stage Gate product development and project management processes.  High level of proficiency with all common software packages, such as Microsoft Office, and instrument related software. Experience with the process of searching, evaluating, and filing patents required

R&D Plastics Lab Instrumentation Chemist – Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, in Chemistry, Material Science, Polymer Science, or closely related field.  Minimum 5 years of experience in instrumentation – GPC, FTIR, Thermal analytical techniques. Knowledge of Thermoplastic Elastomers is a plus.  Thorough understanding of the properties and structures of thermoplastic elastomers, interaction between the relevant polymer materials and additives, including a focus on methods used for their characterization.  1 year of experience in linking polymer structure and materials to real world applications.  1 year of experience troubleshooting analytical instruments.  High level of proficiency with all common software packages, such as Microsoft Office, and instrument related software.  Experience with the process of searching, evaluating, and filing patents required.

R&D Regulatory Documentation Specialist – BS degree in Chemistry or similar is required.  Additional regulatory related certification preferred.  Minimum 1-2 years of regulatory documentation experience required.  Experience in plastics manufacturing regulatory documentation strongly preferred.  Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).   Experience with a business system would be a plus.  Must be detail oriented, have a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy, a quick thinker, versatile, flexible, self-motivated, driven, customer service oriented, have strong interpersonal skills, be a good listener, maintain confidentiality, and be a team player.  Must be able to analyze data, identify issues and resolve problems quickly with little to no direction.
