StarPrene® TPEs Better Performing Than TPVs, at Better Pricing Levels

BROADVIEW (CHICAGO), IL - Star Thermoplastics has introduced the firm's newest elastomer offering – a line of TPEs (thermoplastic elastomers) that mold and perform better than TPVs (thermoplastic vulcanizates – EPDM rubber and polypropylene) and are more competitively priced. They are being sold under the StarPrene® trade name. Star Thermoplastics, a Division of Star Thermoplastic Alloys & Rubbers Inc. (founded in 1993), a Chicago-based TPE producer, arguably is the first TPE producer to offer standard and custom TPE grades that are comparable to competitive TPVs, but at better pricing levels..
